Macintosh Application Engineer
We are looking for programmers with significant experience developing consumer applications for the Macintosh platform.
This is for a very well-known consumer application being developed on contract with one of Silicon Valley's best-known large software publishers. Despite what one might think from our website, please note this is not for a graphics- or animation-related application.
Location
Telecommute or Bay Area Peninsula-based office. Although location is flexible, living within North American time zones is strongly preferred.
Requirements
3+ years of modern Cocoa / Objective-C development experience on Macintosh (not just iPhone)
5+ years professional application development experience
Comfortable building fluid UIs with Interface Builder and Cocoa APIs
Experience with CoreData, Obj-C 2.0, Obj-C garbage collection, Core Animation
Experience with OOP and GOF design patterns
Javascript or XSLT experience a plus
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
BS/BA/MS in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience
